Q1:What is the online scientific council system?
Online scientific council system is an online system belongs to vice president for postgraduate studies and scientific research at University of Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal. It allows faculty member to apply and follow-up their applications like: academic promotion, sabbatical leave, scientific attachment, appointments, scientific publishing, retirement, resignation, rewards and other services. Q2:What are the services provided by the system?
  • Check the status of the application.
  • View the application with its attachments.
  • Print the application
  • Print the final decision.
  • Save the application with its decision as archives
  • To fill al the application in one time or fill a part of it in a course of time.
  • Ability of the head of departments, the deans, committees and scientific council to review the faculty application and add their decision and comments.
  • The system saves all application’s information by their ID and date.
Q3:How to register as new faculty member?
The registration process is required only for the first time of entry to the system and you have to follow the next steps of instructions: After you enter the main page click on registration >> page of registering a new faculty registration will appear, fill all the required fields>> click on send>> now you can log in to the system by your username and password.
Q4:How to sign in to the system as faculty member, head of the department or dean?
Enter your username and password at the main page (the user name is the part before the @ at your personal UOD email as faculty member and the password is the same of your personal UOD email password>> click sign in.
Q5:How to apply for any application?
After you log in to the system, click on new application >> select the type of application you want to apply.
Q6:How to inquiry about specific application?
After you log in to the system, click on inquire about an application>> enter the application’s number>> click on search
Q7:How to save my application?
After filling the application you can save it as draft by clicking on save as draft button so you can complete your application later before sending it to your head of the department.(You will find the drafts in your control panel by clicking on View drafts)
Q8:I want to register but I cant find my college, department, specialization in the list?
